In the summer of 2021, we were lucky enough to be invited to Live Stream the All in the Mind Festival held in Glebe Gardens in Basingstoke and organised by Fluid Motion Theatre Company. This event was a one-day arts festival centred around mental health and mental wellbeing with art installations, poetry, drama, music, and interactive street performers.
We were so grateful to use this as an opportunity to test some of the additions to our live stream kit, primarily our wireless camera transmitter. Now one of our favourite pieces of kit, it allowed us to transmit HD video back to our production van where it could be mixed with our other wired camera feeds from around the site. We had a 4 camera setup and provided coverage of the whole festival site.
To add to production value and allow for better audience interaction, we encourage clients to use a presenter / continuity announcer for their livestreams. The All in the Mind team arranged for the amazing Christian Flint to guide viewers around the event, interviewing performers and attendees. We were incredibly impressed he was able to keep it up for a 4 hour livestream!
This summer, as the world opens up a little more we are starting to see further interest from clients in our event live-streaming services, with two booked so far already. We think our flexible, mobile, multi-camera, and multi-channel audio setup makes us an excellent choice for anyone who wants to open their event up to a wider audience, making it more accessible and interactive.
